From box to CarPlay in about five minutes.
No installer, no wiring into your stereo, no day in the workshop. Here's the whole process.
1. Mount it
Choose your spot β on top of the dash or low on the windscreen, wherever you can glance at it without taking your eyes off the road. Press the suction base (M7) or peel-and-stick the adhesive base (M11) into place and click the screen on.
2. Power it
Run the included cable to your 12V cigarette socket or a USB port and tuck it neatly along the trim. There's nothing to splice, fuse or wire into your car's electrics β if your car can charge a phone, it can power a DriveM8.
3. Pair & drive
Turn the screen on, open Bluetooth on your phone, and connect once. From then on it links automatically every time you get in. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are both supported, wirelessly.
Getting the audio right
You've got three easy ways to hear your music and calls:
- Bluetooth to your existing car stereo (most common).
- AUX cable if your stereo has a 3.5mm input.
- Built-in FM transmitter β tune your radio to a spare frequency and the screen broadcasts to it.
